Happy Creek Minerals Ltd. is a junior mining exploration company engaged in the acquisition and exploration of mineral properties containing various metals such as copper, molybdenum (moly), tungsten, gold and silver, in British Columbia, Canada. Our mission is to create wealth for shareholders through the discovery of economic mineral deposits, and partnering or selling to a mid-tier or major mining company to develop and operate.
Our strategy involves 100% owned mineral properties that are close to existing and past-producing mines that have infrastructure in place to allow lower-cost exploration, development and production. In addition, we believe exploration in a safe geopolitical environment and a diversified metal portfolio provides the best possible opportunity to minimize risk and maximize value for shareholders.
The Company has shown technical exploration success and plans to continue advancing its projects with the goal of turning "potential" into significant tangible value for shareholders. Highlights to date include:
- Discovered by drilling, two new copper zones thought to have resource potential that adjoin Highland Valley Copper, Canada's largest copper producer;
- Discovered by soil and rock sampling, a new, large scale copper, molybdenum and gold system that adjoins the former Boss Mountain molybdenum mine, Canada's first major and highest grade moly producer;
- Discovered by soil, rock sampling and drilling, a new large scale tungsten and molybdenum system with high tungsten grades at surface that are comparable to mines on a worldwide basis;
- Outlined by geology, soil, rock sampling and drilling, a copper-gold (alkalic porphyry) system with similarities to the Mount Polley mine to the north.
